petition for a doctor who episode where the doctor travels back in time to meet arthur conan doyle and accidentally happens to mention how popular sherlock holmes is even 130 years later and poor acd almost breaks down crying

"Doctor before you leave…just tell me one thing."
"What’s that?"
"My books, the Sherlock Holmes books…do they die out?"
"No, Arthur. People love them. They carry on for hundreds of years."
"Damnit. God damnit. Fuck."

There is an episode exactly like that with Charles Dickens episode 3 of ‘season 1’ ( 2005) with Chris Eccelston. Those are nearly the exact lines if I can remember correctly except not Sherlock Holmes, obviously.

There’s the Vargas brothers… Veneziano and Feliciano, then there’s Ludwig, and finally Kiku. Kiku is a little nervous sometimes, hon hon, but perhaps that is because he was dragged into the job by Feliciano and Ludwig (mainly Feliciano, though). These are the waiters around the restaurant….

And then there’s Yao.

He is the other chef…. Normally he is… okay, but sometimes he has his more… questionable moments, non?

This was my collaboration to the anthology 1920. I’ve asked the ‘editor’ if I could post this last year but I didn’t get a reply, since it’s not been reprinted or anything alike I decided to share it, I hope there is no problem in making this public now.

The theme was, as the title says “1920” so I decided to go for an artsy thing and make it about photomontages, so there it is :>
